The mythical hero's journey is another aspect of the child's growing up process and is therefore related to the science of psychology. Signs of it can be found in many stories around the world. Since the mythical hero's journey is present in many ancient and folktales of Iran, the following research seeks to answer the question of to what extent and with what representations the theme of the mythical hero's journey is found in the folktales of Lorestan. To find the answer, the manifestations of the mythical hero's journey in the folktales of Lorestan were studied and reported using a descriptive-analytical method and based on Campbell's model (2006). The results of the study indicate that in 11 stories out of 183 stories studied, the mythical hero's journey is in three steps; Separation, the ritual of finding one's way to the portal and returning, are represented.The seventeen steps of the sub-branch of these three chants can be found more or less in these stories. It was also clear that the step of meeting the goddess is most prominent in these stories, which is an indication of the high value of the wife and the marital bond in the life and culture of the people of Lorestan.
