Rasul Parvizi is considered as one of writers of the 1330s and 1340s. before transitioning into politics and eventually leaving the literary world. More than half of Parvizi’s 32 stories are based on his childhood to adulthood memories in which he himself appears as the narrator. The lively, detailed and accurate portrayals of characters' states and behaviors, particularly the narrator, have made this category of his stories ideal for psychoanalytic analysis. This article examines the development of the narrator's personality in a number of Rasoul Parvizi's stories based on Erikson's theory of psychosocial development and analyzes the development of the narrator's personality in the eight stages of this theory. This research can help identify common behavioral patterns and personality traits in contemporary literature as well as the impact of cultural and social factors on the characterization of writers, especially teacher writers. The results of the present research show that Parvizi's descriptions of the states and behaviors of characters, especially those of the narrator's character, are consistent with Erikson's eight stages of development, and he has succeeded in accurately and psychologically describing characters. Furthermore, based on the findings of this research, it can be said that the various crises that the narrator faced at different stages of his life played a key role in the formation of his identity and sense of self-worth. In this research, the author has used the documentary method and the descriptive-analytical approach. After the data were extracted , they were analyzed based on Erikson's theory.
