This research, titled The Structure of the Five-Factor Model of the Main Character in the Famous Novel "Gileh Mard", aims to describe the structure of Gileh Mard's character and his behavioral representations. The data were taken from the story Gileh Mard written by "Bozorg Alavi". The descriptive-analytical method was used to analyze the structure of Gileh Mard's character and his behavioral representations. The model used for analysis in this research is the five-factor model of personality presented by Costa and McCrae (1992), two American psychologists who presented five main axes for introducing the character. This study shows that according to this theory, the author used a mixed design and applied the mixing method to reveal Gileh Mard's character. The psychoanalysis of the presented model shows the personality structure of human behavior, which includes openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism. Behavioral representations of the personality structure according to the Big Five theory depict the inner struggle and conscientiousness of the main character of the story. The results of the analysis also show that the main character of the story has become an open and experiential character, and this affects his behavior and the way he deals with the events of the story.
