Literary criticism studies is one of the new realms of literature in which the researcher, looking at the literary theory, examines the ruling views of the society in the works of an author or a period or school.Maryam Jahani is one of the young writers of Kermanshahi, who has displayed more or less the cultural elements of her city in the novel "This street does not have a speed limiter".In this article, an attempt is made to analyze the approach of Michel Foucault, a French sociologist, about the concept of power and how it is formed and functions in Iranian society, specifically in the city of Kermanshah, with regard to the novel "This Street Has No Speed Gear" by Maryam Jahani. The problem of the research is how this novel, by using different voices in front of the dominant patriarchal discourse, brings the silent and unheard voices of women to the audience? Also, how has the author been able to create a new character of a woman in Iran's fictional literature by avoiding conventional feminism, who has found an independent identity for herself against the dominant discourse of her society and freed herself from passivity and unjust power in the society?
