Who Will Believe, Rostam is Roohangiz Sharifian’s second long story after Silk Coil. This novel tells the story about unconventional love, narrated by an Iranian immigrant woman named Partov Sanaat Jamshidi. This protagonist that who is called Shoura, Shirin and Shourideh leaves Iran after marrying to Jahan, but she never forgets her motherland’s memories. The nostalgic lens through which the main character views her past mirrors the author’s perspective, imbuing the novel with a romantic tone. This study, employing a descriptive-analytical approach and focusing on a library-based research method, seeks to identify romantic elements in this novel novel. In the new romantic flow in Persian literature -distinct from earlier movements- female writers play a significant role. Finally, this essay shows that most properties of romanticism can be found in Who Will Believe, Rostam. Consequently, the novel can be classified as a romantic work in the context of modern Persian literature.
