Abstract

The present article analyzes the element of place and studies how it connected with the characters of the Zanan Bedouneh Mardan written by Shahrnosh Parsipour; because place in this story is an important structural element that has a special effect on the Metamorphosis of characters and the expansion of meaning in the text. The interaction relationship between humans and place is one of the topics investigated in environmental psychology. This approach has a special view of place and humans and provides a suitable model for the psychological analysis of place in the story. This essay analyzes the Zanan Bedouneh Mardan such an approach to finding out the role of place in the story. In general, it can be said that the place in this story is not just a background for events and does not have a fixed and predetermined meaning, but it is an important, dynamic, and effective element that gives meaning to the characters in the story and gives them identity and meaning. Finally, the place in this story, by creating a sense of security, peace, and independence for the women, releases them from the control of the lifeworld and brings them self-awareness and a new understanding of themselves.
