The results of the research show that Maarouhi is a writer in this novel who, by using many signs, using the fluid flow of the mind, as well as the duality and two-facetness of the characters, leads to the failure and degeneration of his life. and has expressed this as a result of the problems and pressure caused by the political, economic and social conditions of the society during different periods. The author has tried to use the signs of identity in line with characterizing functions and through them to form two mutual intellectual groups, one is normative and the other is non-normative and wants freedom of action and breaking traditions. This attitude has established a deep connection with the ideology ruling the society and somehow refers to the atmosphere of the patriarchal society.
