Abstract

The censorship is a sociological phenomenon with restrictions on freedom of expression in religious, political, social, ethnic and racial fields for writers and artists and other sections of society. The narration in the short story has a more limited capacity, and as a result, the censor can exert influence on each and every word of the author with the presence of more mind This article deals with the methods of passing censorship in the collection of Hasmik's short stories by Marjan Sadeghi. In this collection, five stories of all are associated with breaking content. She has passed the censorship in two ways; One is in the way of narration, such as the creation of complex narratives; The narrative of the fluid of the mind, which is used in three stories of this series, and another direct expression through the technique of intertextuality, dealing with taboos in the lives of minorities, or referring to famous movies. Other methods can be mentioned consecutive descriptions, high speed of information transfer, short and long sentences, use of characters with special characteristics that are acceptable to commit or carry out such a taboo within the framework of the story. This research shows that the censorship has caused the writer's stylistic tendency to a certain style of narration, which probably makes the work too late for the average reader.
